Taurine is a natural product of the exchange of sulfur-containing amino acids: cysteine, cysteamine, methionine. Taurine has osmoregulatory and protective properties of cell membranes, positively affects the phospholipid composition of cell membranes and normalizes the exchange of calcium and potassium ions in cells. Taurine has the properties of an inhibitory neurotransmitter, acts anti-stress, can regulate the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), epinephrine, prolactin and other hormones, as well as regulate reactions to them. Participating in the synthesis of respiratory chain proteins in mitochondria, taurine regulates oxidative processes and exhibits antioxidant properties; it affects enzymes such as cytochrome involved in the metabolism of various xenobiotics.
Taurine improves metabolic processes in the heart, liver and other organs and tissues. In chronic diffuse liver diseases taurine increases blood flow and reduces the severity of cytolysis.
Treatment with Cardioactive taurine in cardiovascular insufficiency (SSN) leads to a decrease in congestion in small and large circles of blood circulation: it reduces diastolic intracardiac pressure, increases contractility of the heart muscle (maximum rate of contraction and relaxation, indicators of contractility and relaxation). The drug moderately lowers blood pressure in patients with hypertension and practically does not affect the level of blood pressure in patients with circulatory failure with low blood pressure.

Excipients: povidone-57.0 mg, microcrystalline cellulose-18.0 mg, Croscarmellose sodium-17.2 mg, calcium stearate-4.8 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide-3.0 mg.
Posology and method of administration:
In heart failure, Cardioactive taurine is taken orally 250-500 mg (1/2-1 tablet) 2 times a day 20 minutes before meals, the course of treatment is 30 days. The dose can be increased to 2-3 g (4-6 tablets) per day.
In case of poisoning with cardiac glycosides — at least 750 mg (1.5 tablets) per day.
In type 1 diabetes 1-500 mg (1 tablet) 2 times a day in combination with insulin therapy for 3-6 months.
In type 2 diabetes-500 mg (1 tablet) 2 times a day in combination with diet or other oral antidiabetic drugs. In type 2 diabetes, including moderate hypercholesterolemia-500 mg (1 tablet) 2 times a day.
In the complex treatment of heart failure, diabetes, poisoning with cardiac glycosides, the drug is taken under the supervision of a doctor.
The drug does not affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and speed of psychotropic reactions (driving, working with mechanisms of movement, work dispatcher, operator, etc.).
Contraindications:
Severe heart failure in the stage of decompensation. Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Cardioactive tuarin is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
Precautions for use:
Caution should be exercised when co-administering with cardiac glycosides, calcium channel blockers (bmccs) in patients with severe renal impairment.
Use during pregnancy and lactation:
